My 257 Days of Silence

I felt compunction for my silence because of my readers’ requests to return back to writing to know my latest updates. Therefore I decided to start this new blog. Many of you know that I was studying Russian language in Russia. My Russian experience failed to meet my expectation due to poor educational quality of the institute, therefore I decided to study only the language preparation course and enjoy my stay in St. Petersburg. Nevertheless I took the chance to visit Star City near Moscow. In summer 2007 I came back to Kuwait, and immersed myself into volunteer work with DASS at Kuwait Science Club doing various activities and organized another International Space Station (ISS) school radio contact for Kuwaiti students. Last August I got married and moved to Vienna. As they say “A picture is worth a thousand words”.

    Dear M,

first of all, I’m really glad that you are doing fine and in good health, we were worried about you during the Russian experience.

secondly, although I’m sad that you couldn’t achieve your goals in Russia, the fact that you are happy now and married too was more than enough.. so as my dear Chigi said: Mabroooooooooook, you deserve the best and I’m happy for you.

now for the cake.. why didn’t you leave me a piece, and why is there a German flag and why is it taller than the Kuwaiti flag?

    live long and prosper

Thanks ChillGirl. Yes, I am officially back to blogging :-)

EXzombie: I thought the picture will explain. You can see two little lego people, one is me with a Kuwaiti flag and other one is my husband with a German flag (because he is German). I think the German flag is longer because my husband is way taller than me ;) And the space shuttle represents on how we met (in a space conference).
